Raquel Vazquez is an accomplished community development leader and writer. Raquel is the Founder and CEO of The Empowered Block, a community development platform and consultancy. She is an expert in urban planning, affordable housing, and economic development, with over 15 years of experience in community development. Raquel is also Founder of Nido Poets, an international poetry collective for women of color.
